Here's what you need to know to make the most of your summer at SLP.

Free meals available this summer

All children in the community ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy free breakfast and lunch this summer - no registration required. Meals will be served in-person at the following locations:

Park Terrace Elementary

  • Dates: July 6-30, Monday-Thursday
  • Times: Breakfast - 9-9:30 a.m.; Lunch - 12:30-1 p.m.
  • Entrance: Enter through the front office, check in and proceed to the cafeteria

Westwood Intermediate and Middle School

  • Dates: July 6-30, Monday-Thursday
  • Times: Breakfast - 8:15-8:45 a.m.; Lunch - 12-1 p.m.
  • Entrance: Enter through the front office, check in and proceed to the cafeteria

Spring Lake Park High School

  • Dates: June 9-August 20, Monday-Thursday
  • Times: Breakfast - 8:15-9 a.m.; Lunch - 12:15-1 p.m.
  • Entrance: Enter through Door 29 on the Able Street side of the school, check in and proceed to the cafeteria

For adults who wish to purchase a meal, the cost is $3.25 for breakfast and $5.65 for lunch. You will be able to view summer meal menus online. Questions? Please reach out to the Nutrition Services Department at 763-600-5041 or foodservice@district16.org.

Summer Youth Enrichment Opportunities

We offer a wide variety of camps and clinics for children in grades K–12. From sports and STEM to art and music, these programs are designed to keep students learning, growing, and having fun all summer long. Spots are still open - browse opportunities and register today.

Contact and Visit Us

The District Services Center (DSC) will have summer hours June 8-August 3, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The building will be closed on June 19 and June 29-July 3. Regular hours will resume at the DSC on Monday, August 3, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Looking Ahead to Fall

In August, we kick off the new school year. Families of current students can expect to hear from their schools in early to mid-August with information to start the year including Meet and Greet events and other back to school details.
